I explored two distinct creative directions for the concept. 8 Bit Bento reimagines dashboards as bento boxes, using organised compartments and pixel art food to represent different data types. The visual language naturally reflects the structure of a dashboard while adding a playful, culturally relevant Japanese reference. Tokyo Neon draws from the energy of Tokyo at night, combining glowing data visualisations with a bold cyberpunk aesthetic. High contrast, vibrant and impossible to ignore. Both directions bring a distinctly Japanese character to the experience while staying true to the playful, data driven spirit of Lightdash.
project overview
Black Pegasus is an imagined neo noir thriller set against the backdrop of a dark, contemporary London. The project explores how a fictional film can be built as a complete brand universe, extending beyond the screen into advertising, fashion, objects and the city itself. From the film identity and campaign artwork to billboards, transport, merchandise and printed collateral, every touchpoint is designed to feel like part of the same cinematic world. The visual language combines deep blacks, crimson reds, dramatic imagery and refined typography to create a sense of speed, mystery and quiet tension.
